I set up accounts in both ZoHo and GoogleDocs. For many users, these both have the features that are needed for work processing documents. Since I have a Google account I would probably tend to use GoogleDocs in order to keep things somewhat in one place.
I also plan to try the Presentation features. It would be great to move to any internet connected computer and be able to make a presentation.
In schools we often deal with different versions of software between home an school. We have many students who move documents on flash drives, but this would eliminate the external devices that are not always reliable.
Also, we do not have a good way for students to work collaboratively and this would be a great way to work together.
We use the Apple program Pages and I was able to export and open documents easily.
Seems to be allowed through our filter so that is good.
