I found my past coming back to haunt me as I have used Blogger in teaching situations in the past, but then have failed to maintain and update the blogs that I created as demos. I have now cleaned up that Internet "trash" and become a responsible blog citizen with only active blogs to maintain.

I have used Blogger several times and feel more comfortable with the editing functions each time. I am anxious to experiment more with the formatting during "23 Things" and learn more about applications in the K-12 environment. 

We have used Edublogs in our district and are now evaluating Saywire as a blog platform for the classroom. 

I am a Yahoo user so managed the avatar task without too many problems. I chose the Viking ship background because we have a replica of a Viking ship in Moorhead. The ship on display in the Hjemkomst Center actually sailed to Norway 25 years ago.
